The New York State Math Assessments will be given this week. Be sure to get a good night's sleep and eat a good breakfast to help you do your best on them.
All junior high Math classes will have homework almost every night. If there isn't an assignment given on a particular day, the students should be reading over their notes and bringing any questions they have to the next class.
For Math review, Prentice Hall, our Math textbook company, has a Homework Video Tutor and an online lesson quiz available for each section of each chapter in our book. I suggest you start with chapter 1, lesson1 and continue chapter 1 until completed. Then go through chapter 2, and so on until you have successfully completed the work for the grade you completed in June. Directions on how to do that are as follows:
Go to PHSchool.com
Grade 6 Homework Video Tutor, type in aqe and the 2 digit chapter, followed by the 2 digit section in the chapter. For example to view the lesson on Equivalent Fractions which is in chapter 4 section 5, type in aqe 0405. To take the lesson quiz, type in aqa 0405. (That's aqa and the 2 digit chapter and 2 digit section.)
Grade 7 Homework Video Tutor is are then the 2 digit chapter, followed by the 2 digit section in the chapter. To take the lesson quiz, type in ara and the 2 digit chapter, followed by the 2 digit section.

I am available to give extra help to anyone who needs it after school most days. Please don't hesitate to ask.
